Chambord is a true original – the classic French press coffee maker designed within the fifties. To nowadays we continue to produce the Chambord with the similar artisan craftsmanship of yesteryear, but with a focal point on environmentally responsible manufacturing in our Bodum owned factory in Portugal. The frame and lid, made of steel, undergo a number of chrome plating processes to obtain a durable shiny surface in an effort to last for a few years of intense use.
